On September 13–14, 2025 at the Lublin Fair The World Cat Show took place at 11 Dworcowa Street – one of the most important events for cat lovers in Poland and worldwide. The show was organized by the International Cat Club IBSCC in cooperation with Targi Lublin SA , under the patronage of the World Cat Federation (WCF) .
This prestigious event annually brings together breeders, exhibitors, and enthusiasts from around the world, creating a true celebration of felinology . This year's event featured hundreds of cats representing a variety of breeds —from stately Maine Coons and elegant Siamese to extremely rare Oriental varieties.
During the exhibition, competitions and finals were held , in which a specially appointed jury – composed of international feline judges – selected the most beautiful and elegant cats according to international WCF standards.
In addition to the exhibition area, guests could visit stands with food, toys, accessories and souvenirs related to cats , as well as talk to breeders, exchange experiences and learn the secrets of breeding.

A world full of beauty and emotion
The moment you entered the exhibition hall, you could feel the unique atmosphere of this event. Hundreds of exhibitors, carefully prepared stands, and the sounds of conversations about genetic lines, care, and exhibition achievements – all of this created a space brimming with passion and professionalism.
But it was the cats themselves that impressed us most – extraordinary, majestic, and diverse. Among the many breeds we had the opportunity to admire, the Khao Manee cats were particularly memorable – true gems in the feline world. These exceptional animals, native to Thailand, captivate not only with their snow-white fur but, above all, with their unique eyes – one a shade of blue, the other amber.
DiamondEyes Cattery is the only legal Khao Manee cattery in Poland, registered with the Polish Feline Association (PZF) . We had the opportunity to meet their kittens at a cat show – they impressed us with their health, temperament, and unique appearance. The breeders run their operations professionally, ensuring both the quality of their genetic lines and providing support to new owners. Every interaction with DiamondEyes demonstrates their passion and commitment to the development of this extraordinary breed.

New acquaintances and inspiring conversations
During the fair, we also had the pleasure of meeting many wonderful people – breeders, exhibitors and cat lovers who have one thing in common: a deep passion and great empathy for animals.
We have particularly fond memories of our visit to the Bibusie Rex cattery , run by Janusz Piechociński . It's a place where it's clear that love for cats is the foundation of everything. Conversations with the cattery owners were full of positive energy, professionalism, and genuine care for the animals. Their approach demonstrates that success in the world of cattery isn't based solely on titles and awards, but above all on the relationship and trust between the owner and their animals.

A story that touched our hearts
During the exhibition, we also met Ginger , an extraordinary cat with hydrocephalus. His presence at the event was much more than just another appearance—it was a symbol of courage, perseverance, and unconditional love. Despite his disability, Ginger exudes peace and joy in life.
This encounter reminded us that every animal, regardless of its limitations, deserves respect, care, and a dignified life. Ginger's story is also a story of people who are unafraid of sacrifice and who can see beauty where others see only hardship.
